Judge Herman Jones rules portions of Barton Creek non-navigable, essentially cutting off public access to an area that had been used recreationally for decades.

Herman Jones announced from the bench that Barton Creek up to the swimming pool was a navigable stream, but above Barton Springs, it was non-navigable and privately-owned. I was very surprised by Judge Jones' ruling, and I can only speculate that, I had some outside interference in that lawsuit other than the plaintiffs.
