The SOS Coalition reorganizes as a non-profit legal defense fund. Renamed the SOS Alliance, the group becomes a permanent part of Austin's political scene, recognizing the protection of Barton Creek and Barton Springs will require a long-term presence and ongoing advocacy.

Barton Springs like other special places... you have to save it every day. Every generation, you know, every year, era... there’s new threats... nothing’s ever completely saved.
