The Barton Creek Ordinance strengthens protections for Barton Creek through the creation of watershed zones. The Save Barton Creek Association and Zilker Park Posse help write the ordinance which is then adopted by the city.
The ordinance follows 'the most environmentally aggressive areas of California and Portland. It's incredible, especially for Texas. It comes to grips with a problem and it's not afraid to step out and do something.
