Environmental and neighborhood groups form the Save Our Springs Coalition. Their mission: to strengthen the 1986 Comprehensive Watershed Ordinance to prevent further degradation of Barton Creek and Barton Springs.
Save Our Springs Coalition was comprised of members from Travis Audubon, WeCare Austin, The Austin Sierra Club, Earth First! local chapter, Texas Clean Water Action and Texas Citizen Action.
We do not want to see or hear any excuses, delays or compromises. We are sick and tired of excuses, delays and compromises. We are here today because of excuses, delays and compromises made in the past.
